Circle Return

Soluq Dance Theater presents Circle Return, a shared evening of dance exploring the newest and boldest ideas of four of New York's most promising and innovative emerging companies; Soluq Dance Theater, AnA Collaborations, Depth Dance, and Coleman Collective. Four distinct companies with a shared goal; to push boundaries and explore new ideas in performance. Soluq Dance Theater will be presenting ShadowLand, a stark look into human nature, dense with emotional rawness and physical exertion, this intimate work chases our efforts to make sense of the world around us. AnA Collaborations presents STRANGER, an edgy band/performance hybrid striking new ground in the space between music and dance. ColemanCollective, Inc brings Reference and Remarks: Is a landscape created through movement and sound using original and sampled music, arranged in collaboration with Mark Cardarelli. This dance theatre work studies African ancestry and its influence on modern culture, specifically hip hop and fashion, with costumes designed by the clothing brand House o Bones.
