Fools
The Dolphin Players present Neil Simon's Fools, a comic fable set in the small village of Kulyenchikov, Ukraine, during the late 19th century. The story follows Leon Steponovich Tolchinsky, a schoolteacher who takes a new job educating Sophia, the daughter of Dr. Zubritsky and his wife, Lenya. Leon soon learns that there is a curse on the village that makes everyone stupid, but complications ensue when Leon falls in love with his pupil. Kevin Thurkow directs this production which runs through the end of October. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and $5 for children under 12. This outrageously funny show is appropriate for the whole family.
