The People's Poetry Festival Presents Family Poetry Workshop
Imagine.capturing a moment in time with Haiku, experiencing a color with all your senses and exploring your reflection in the mirror, all with poetry. This family workshop as part of Peoples Poetry Festival, will invite, ignite and excite participants to write poetry of all sorts. Be inspired by nature, photographs, mirrors and more on a Saturday morning and awaken the poet inside.
About the poet facilitator
Each writers voice is unique and engaging. Pam Clark is a novelist, freelance writer, poet and mentor who believes in the power of writing to incite change, both on a personal and global scale. Her novel, Kalyna, won the Canadian Authors Association Exporting Alberta Award and she has worked with The Shoe Project and Alexandra Writers Center as a writer-mentor. She believes that writing is the catalyst for deeper human connection and that writing poetry is a freeing experience best shared in a group. Pam is a school teacher and lives with her supportive family in Calgary.
