Kerloo Cellars Wine Dinner at Heyday Farm House
Heyday Farm is pleased to welcome Ryan Crane and Stephen Lesefko of Kerloo Cellars for an evening of wine, food, and community on the farm!
Winemaker Ryan Crane found his love for winemaking while volunteering at vineyards including Animale Cellars, then earning the role of Assistant Winemaker at Va Piano Vineyards, before furthering his Viticulture education in Walla Walla. In 2007 he opened Kerloo Cellars in Walla Walla, later moving the business to Seattle while still adhering to his values of sourcing grapes from Eastern Washington vineyards. While a Seattle native, Stephen has spent time around the world gaining Post Graduate wine-science education and learning more about various wine-making techniques in New Zealand, Germany and South Australia. With this wide variety of knowledge, he joined Kerloo as the Assistant Wine Maker after meeting Ryan and finding they had a common philosophy when it comes to growing and producing wine. Their passion for wine is evident from the moment you meet this amazing team!
Interacting with customers is one of Kerloo Cellars' greatest joys, and they love sharing their stories and experience with wine. Throughout this evening you will learn all about their unique winemaking philosophy, passion, and practices, including their use of concrete vessels. Kerloo wines challenge your palate with their evolving techniques across their broad portfolio of varietals.
The evening will begin in Heyday Farms' festive barn with Ryan and Stephen pouring a tasting of a selection of wines from Kerloo Cellars. Guests will then be invited into the Farmhouse to enjoy a 4-course meal prepared by our Executive Chef, Tadao Mitsui, thoughtfully curated to reflect the unique tastes of the Kerloo wines.
$85.00+tax per person. Ticket includes wine tasting upon arrival, 4-course meal, and gratuity. Additional wines will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle and case.
Tickets for this dinner are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation by the guest winemaker or the dinner in general, full purchase price shall be refunded.
