The Dance Project

The Dance Project is excited to start the 2019-2020 season at Ballet Austin's Ventures Theatre December 14th and 15th. The company began as a dream for Dr.Diana Wang and Tisha Coffey to create freedom of expression and allow new and experience choreographers the chance to work in a professional setting. We both work full time jobs and did not want to give up our dance career as adults. We knew there were other adults out there wanting to contribute and perform and are excited to be entering the 6th year for The Dance Project.
This show presents 9 choreographers new and old and 35 dancers all very excited to share their passion for dance with you. We offer everything from Musical Theatre and A Chorus Line to Ballet and Sassy Jazz. We cannot wait to see what Dre Torres brings to the show this year. She always brings top notch choreography that is powerful and heartfelt.
We welcome a new performance singing company VIBE to the show this season. They bring some joyous tunes and promise to transport us with their cheerful performance. Lets not forget the amazing work Rise Dance Company and The Q Project always bring to the stage !!
Join us December 14th for a wine reception.
Wine Reception at 630 and the show begins at 730pm.
Sunday December 15th is our matinee at 4pm with a mimosa toast prior to the show at 3:15
