Presentation and Book Signing - Glen Dawson: Mountaineer and Bookman
Author and historian Elizabeth Pomeroy will discuss her new book about Glen Dawson. Glen was a beloved and renowned man of books as well as an avid globe-trotting climber. As a partner in the illustrious Dawsons Book Shop in L.A. for sixty years, he influenced a renaissance in Southern California book life. Glen was a resident of Pasadena for seventy years, and some of the Dawson family papers are housed in the Archives. Books will be available for purchase.
