Alex Dallas, a well known performer on the comedy scene with her female comedy troupe, Sensible Footwear, returns with Horseface, her one woman show, that addresses manspreaders, the #METOO movement and so much more in a biting and funny play, that won accolades from NOW Toronto and sold out at the Toronto Fringe.
Sandra meets a manspreader on a train and events take an ugly turn or do they?
Dallas is acerbic and self-assured her humour is biting but she also has a playful side, and she smoothly weaves narration and dramatization together. Is it ever okay to kick a man in the balls? Dallas might have the answer. If only we taught young women how to prepare for misogyny with this kind of gusto.
