Parlor of Mystery and South Shore The Experience present Another FFFF'D-Up Magic Show
Parlor of Mystery and South Shore Theatre Experience are proud to present
MAGICIANS MICHEL HUOT, DAVID SCHWARTZ, JEFF MILLER AND MIKE MAIONE WILL PERFORM AT ANOTHER FFFFD-UP MAGIC SHOW AT THE PARLOR OF MYSTERY ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 at 7pm
Since 1971 a small group of the best close-up magicians in the world has convened in a hotel in upstate New York to share magic secrets and sleight of hand techniques, drink beer and eat donuts through the wee hours. The annual gathering is by invitation only and continues to feature the best performers, creators, and lecturers in the world. The group is known as Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolics or the FFFF.
This show is FFFF'd up, that is all of the stage performers in the line-up have performed at the 4F, been awarded recognition by the group and been invited back.
Michel Huot is one of Montreal's busiest corporate magicians. With over twenty years of professional experience, he has over 4000 performances to his credit. Michel has been an invitee at the FFFF for decades. He has performed and lectured in Algeria, Mexico, USA, Canada, France, the Magic Circle in London, Switzerland, Italy and more! He is a regular in comedy clubs and, in his downtime, he has been co-organizing an international magic festival in Algeria for seven years. He is the creator of two of today's best-selling tricks' Priceless' and 'Socks.' His creations have appeared in numerous magazines (Genii, MAGIC, The Magic Menu) and many books by David Acer, John Lovick, Paul Rohmany and others.
Award-winning magician David Schwartz uses a combination of mind-reading, expert sleight-of-hand, and easygoing humor to entertain and delight his audiences, leaving them laughing and amazed. David has performed for Jon Stewart, Kelly Ripa, Dick Cavett, Yoko Ono, and baseball legend Yogi Berra as well as top executives at Ford Motor Company, Credit Suisse, Yelp and the New York Yankees. David specializes in entertaining at corporate events and private celebrations. David can be seen Off-Broadway as a featured performer at Monday Night Magic, New York's longest-running magic show. David regularly attends the invitation-only FFFF convention, where he has wowed attendees.
Producer and emcee Mike Maione will host the evening. Mike is Long Island's silliest magician and best known for family-friendly entertainment. He is one of the founders of the Parlor of Mystery and frequently produces and performs at many Parlor of Mystery shows where his magic has a decidedly more grown-up flavor. Maione also lectures and has created magic props and routines used by performers around the world. Mike also regularly attends the invitation-only FFFF convention where he attained the Doctor of Magic status.
Not yet a 4Fr, Jeff is a regular at the Parlor of Mystery and has thrilled Parlor audiences on several occasions. Join him in the lobby during intermission for some wine and to see some of his amazing close-up magic. Please do it, or Jeff will have to drink all the wine himself and it's not pretty when he's had too much.
