Girasoles Summer Flamenco Tour Seattle

The Girasoles Summer Flamenco tour finishes in SeattlePlease join us for a night in Spain. On August 9th walk out of upper Fremont into the Gypsy caves of Seville for a flamenco performance. Doors at 7:00, Flamenco at 8:00.

Jesús Montoya is from Seville, Spain. Born into the one of the oldest Spanish Gypsy families. Jesus was steeped in flamenco purity and power, earning him the name " El Rey Del Fandangos Grande" at age 7 and by age 9 he had started his professional singing career.He is the one most respected and sought after touring flamenco singers brought to the U.S.

Dancer Savannah Fuentes was born into a community of musicians and street artists, as a child Savannah was constantly exposed to art and music. In her late teens She discovered Flamenco.Savannah has discovered that her love of Flamenco and specifically Flamenco singing or "Cante" is what motivates her to tour. She is dedicated to sharing authentic Cante with every audience and she is honored and humbled to share the stage with el Maestro Jesus Montoya.

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Guitarist Bobby de Sofia studied under Paca Arroyo of Barcelona and Pedro Viscomi of Seville. He currently resides in Los Angeles and works with flamenco artists of the highest caliber across North America and abroad

A Paella dinner will also be available that evening.
