Former Broadway Performer and Award Winning NYC and ATLANTA Cabaret Star, ROBERT RAY will perform an intimate evening of Broadway & Pop songs backed by The Robert Strickland Quartet. Guest Performers, Shawn Megorden, Erika Powell and John Newsome will join Ray in select duets made famous by Judy & Barbra (yes that Judy & Barbra) Reba McEntire and Linda Davis and songs from Hugh Jackman's "Greatest Showman."
Expect Ray to put his spin on Broadway favorites "Don't Rain on My Parade"..."Defying Gravity"..."Before the Parade Passes By" and "Ease on Down the Road"!!!!
Ray appeared on Broadway in the 1980 Hit Revival of OKLAHOMA! and that same year was chosen "NEWCOMER of the YEAR" for his Cabaret Act, Robert Ray & the Rayettes. In the past 3 years in Atlanta he has won 4 Best of Atlanta Awards for his starring role in "Priscilla: Queen of the Dessert" and his Piano Bar work at Campagnolo!
