SHANA FARR sings NOËL COWARD
The Noël Coward Society presents performer Shana Farr who brings the wit and wisdom of Noël Coward to life in songs such as Sail Away, Zigeuner, Mad About the Boy, and some of his more humorous patter songs.

Shana is a classically trained actress/singer and award-winning cabaret/concert performer who has played at Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center Rose Theater, Feinsteins at The Regency, Feinsteins/54 Below, and Birdland, as well as Londons Crazy Coqs and most recently The Pheasantry.

She has performed leading roles in musical theater, operetta and plays. Highlights are: The Music Man, The Merry Widow, Oklahoma!, Princess Ida, The Student Prince, The Pirates of Penzance, The Yeomen Of  The Guard, Love Letters, and Sweet Bird of Youth at venues including New York City Center, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, McCarter Theater, York Theatre Company, Rhynsburger Theatre.

Shana is the recipient of a Bistro Award for Outstanding Concept Show that she originated and produced, In The Still of The Night - all music and words of Noel Coward and Cole Porter. She has received two Mabel Mercer Foundation Awards: the Julie Wilson Award  given to a rising star in cabaret; and the Donald F. Smith Award for her all-encompassing, critically acclaimed and joyously received achievements in musical theater, operetta, drama and recordings.

Solo Shows include: Whistling Away The Dark: Songs of Julie Andrews; Dreaming; Lullaby of Broadway; In The Still of The Night: Noel Coward & Cole Porter; and most recently Its Not Where You Start: The Songbook of Barbara Cook.

The Noël Coward Society is an international member organization dedicated to promoting the works of Noël Coward through concerts, presentations, lectures, spoken word, readings, and film. Ticket proceeds cover artist/musician fees, costs for/donations to the venue, and for the productions of future events produced by the Noël Coward Society.
