Greetings! by Tom Dudzick
Greetings! is a play about the Gorski family; a sweet Catholic mother, a sour Catholic father, and an intellectually disabled younger son named Mickey. Set in a working-class Pittsburgh neighborhood, the family awaits the Christmas visit of eldest son Andy. Andy, a cynical New York advertising type, brings home his fiancée, Randi, for the first time. In the Gorski household, arguing seems to be as hallowed a holiday tradition as the nativity set, and Randis introduction that his fiancée is not only Jewish, but an atheist - sets the stage for this very funny and heartwarming play.
The show dates are as follows: December 6, 7, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21. All show times start at 7:30 except the Sunday matinee on December 15. The Sunday Matinee show time is 2:00.
