The C Word
The C-Word is a dark comedy about mental illness and family. It explores how different generations handle mental health and how those attitudes have shifted over the years. The story takes place after Grace returns home after being released from a psychiatric hospital. Grace is staying with her mother, Mary. (This is a case of the apple not even leaving the branchlet alone falling off of the tree). Tension builds throughout the show as the two realize they may not be the best influences on each other.
