Join Chicas Latinas de Sacramento members in celebrating their Federal nonprofit filing!

Almuerzo Cultural! Una Celebración de la Comunidad, Sunday brunch event, will be held at Mayahuel in Downtown Sacramento, a beautiful Mexican restaurant, bar, and tequila museum - a truly delicious cultural experience.

All community members are invited! Bring your family, friends, colleagues, and enjoy the flavors, traditions and colors of Mexico.

Your event ticket includes the amazing Mexican brunch items below, performances by local baile folklorico groups, great silent auction items (including art by local Latin@ artists), and more!!!

Almuerzo Cultural, Brunch Menu:
- Chilaquiles - Lightly fried corn tortillas with a green tomatillo salsa, fresh crema and queso fresco.

- Pozole Verde - Hominy and tender shredded chicken in a steaming hot cilantro tomatillo broth. Garnished with tostadas, diced onions, oregano and lime wedges.

- Mole Poblano con Pollo - THE signature dish from Puebla made with 32 ingredients. Served with braised chicken.

*Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, including agua frescas.

** Specialty Chicas Latinas Brunch Cocktail will be available for purchase, benefiting Chicas Latinas de Sacramento!

Almuerzo Cultural! Una Celebración de la Comunidad is from 11-4, with performances throughout the afternoon. Fun for the whole family! ($20 in advance, children 5-12 $15, under 5 are free.)

Founded in April 2009, Chicas Latinas de Sacramento is Sacramento's first philanthropy-based, Latina social & not for profit organization.

Our mission is to make a positive impact in both the Latin and Sacramento community by improving, connecting and embracing our culture and the community in which we call our home. (By giving back to our community, utilizing our people and our culture to educate, inspire, and lead.)
