Academy of Bartending "Bar Basics" graduates will find our "Beyond Basics" class the ideal follow up to their first lesson, but "Bar Basics" not a prerequisite. "Beyond Basics" caters to anyone looking to delve a bit deeper into drink-making and cocktail history. Learn about more advanced styles like the Cobbler, the Flip, the Fizz, the Daisy and more. We'll work on your shaking and stirring techniques, fortify your ingredient knowledge, talk about contemporary cocktail culture and debate what's next! Admission includes lunch, flights and cocktail samples. Instructors will then hold office hours at H&F Bottle Shop from 2:30pm until 4:30pm for additional instruction and guidance in building your home bar.
