Mama Tried
We are an accumulation of musicians with day jobs. We have a math teacher, technology teacher, special educator and a guidance counselor, with a school nurse and doctor in case things get out of hand. We came together over a period of many years, and don't get out of the basement often, but we really love playing with each other.
Our set list is more varied than our career paths, covering tunes from Dylan, Janis, The Band, and Little Feat through Johnny Cash and The Cranberries. We have occasionally been known to wander off into some more unstructured interludes.
We are comprised of Dr. John Parker on keyboards, Paul Barron and Clark Porter on guitar, Bill Clarke on bass, Pete Hutchinson on drums and Jenny Strout on vocals. Doors open at 6pm - Music starts at 7pm.
Tickets are $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door.
