Cooking Class: Holiday Baking with Ancient Grains
Ancient grains are ones that are largely unchanged over the last several hundred years. Are they more traditional than your run-of-the-mill all-purpose flour? Yep. Are they healthier? You betcha! This class will be taught by Slow Food Member Christine Ciancetta will lead participants in making four mouth-watering desserts that can be integrated into your holiday baking (or jumpstart your tradition!
Menu will include: -Khorasan Wheat Apple Strudel -Honey-Sweetened Einkorn Fruit Cake -Spiced Farro Pudding -Chocolate Hazelnut Emmer Brownies
