Windfall opens its 27th Fearless Season by posing the question What do you see? with the riveting two actor tour-de-force RED by John Logan. Winner of six Tony Awards including Best Play, RED takes place on the cusp of the 60s seismic cultural and artistic shifts. The brilliant abstract expressionist, Mark Rothko is struggling with his $35,000 commission to decorate the elite Four Seasons restaurant in the new Seagram Building.
As Rothko battles with his artistic demons, he continuously challenges his fledgling assistant, Ken, on every aspect of the art of creating art as he chafes against painting murals for a commercial project. RED is a breathtaking, vivid, verbal journey into the crucible of an artists creative, visionary process from imagination to canvas.

Latecomer Policy: Due to the intimate configuration of the Windfall Theatre, latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate time in the performance. Seating will not be permitted a half hour after the start of a performance without an intermission. Cancellation Policy: Windfall Theatre does not cancel or reschedule performances due to inclement weather or sporting events, nor do we offer refunds. Parking: Ample street parking and surface lots are available within walking distance.
