Dear MCT community: With heavy hearts, we have decided to cancel the run of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." This extraordinarily difficult decision is based on the unprecedented health situation we are facing - the spread of the coronavirus in the County and the advice of public health authorities to cancel large gatherings where adequate social distancing cannot be assured, which is the case in Park Hall. We wanted to continue, and were monitoring events hourly as the situation and advice kept changing. We had our final rehearsal last night, and it was wonderful, but the cast and crew understood the situation was growing more difficult daily. We are a community theater, and we want to do our part to keep the community safe.
If you have already purchased tickets for the show, you have three options:
1. Don't do anything, allowing us to keep the money you spent on the tickets, to help this small non-profit minimize our losses. Almost all of our expenses for this show have already been incurred.
2 Get a credit for one of our productions later in the season. You can see the rest of the season at https://mctshows.org/2020-season-subscription/. If you would like to do this, send an email to info@mctshows.org or call and leave a message at 831-336-4777.
3. Get a refund of your ticket purchase. To do this for any performance other than the one tonight, March 13, call Brown Paper Tickets at 800-838-3006. For refunds for tonight or if you have any problems with BPT, take the steps set forth in option 2.
We are still discussing how to handle the loss of this production for our loyal season ticket holders, and will let you know as soon as possible.
