Mental Health First Aid for Youth
Mental Health First Aid for Youth is an 8-hour course (8 am - 4 pm) that teaches you how to help youth who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. The training helps you identify, understand and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. This is ideal for parents, coaches and others who are engaged with youth in their lives. PLEASE NOTE MHFA IS INTENDED AS AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE TO MENTAL HEALTH FOR THOSE HAVING NO BACKGROUND OR TRAINING IN THE SUBJECT.
Participants must complete the full 8 hours of the course to be eligible to receive the completion certificate.
