Dancing The Redwoods - A Fundraiser for the Arts
Mendocino Dance Project and Flockworks join forces to bring this special fundraiser event on a private property in Mendocino on Gurley Lane in support of the Arts.
Daytime Event 12pm-2pm $25 (12 and under free)
The daytime event will include short performances throughout the property with refreshments and a silent auction.
Evening Gala 5:30pm-8pm $75
The evening fundraiser will include short performances, live music by Steven Bates unplugged, paella dinner, local beer and wine, and a silent auction.
All proceeds will support upcoming projects by Mendocino Dance Project and Flockworks.
Mendocino Dance Project brings inspired and original dance to rural communities in Northern California, offering a chance to engage with community and the arts. Mendocino Dance Project teaches creative movement in schools, offers workshops and ongoing classes, and collaborates with other arts organizations.
Flockworks mobilizes resources, talent and time, as a platform for community artists to support collaborative art and creative initiatives. Flockworks adds visibility and access to local arts through exhibits, events, public art, hands on experiences and collective efforts.
