66 on 66 A Photographers Journey is the latest collection of photographs by the Big Daddy of the Mother Road and Tucson resident, Terrence Moore. Moore grew up near Route 66 in Claremont, California and has been photographing the iconic highway celebrated in story, song and films for nearly 50 years. Known as "The Mother Road," this highway became the vital path for travelers, tourists, and fortune-seekers. This volume highlights 66 of Moores finest 35mm color film images a stunning chronicle of this storied road in states from Missouri to California.

Terrence Moore is considered to be one of the premier environmental and architectural photographers of the Southwest. He has published several books, among them Desert Southwest (with Paula Panich and Nora Trulsson), Baja! (with Doug Peacock) and Under the Sun (with Suzi Moore McGregor). Over the past five decades, he has contributed his images to such publications as Smithsonian, American Heritage, Rolling Stone, Arizona Highways, Audubon, and The New York Times, and his images can be seen in Michael Walliss seminal book, Rte. 66: The Mother Road.

According to Wallis, During the course of my career as a journalist and author I have had occasion to work with some truly outstanding photographers. Many of them have won major awards and received international acclaim for their impressive bodies of work. In my book, none of them not a single one measures up to Terrence Moore.
