Modest Menus III : The Modest Merchant x Oxalis - Game Dinner
The Modest Merchant teams up with Oxalis London for the third Modest Menus at The Arches with a set menu focused on Game.
Tickets are priced at £45 a head for these 4 courses and will include a welcome drink.
A 3 glass wine pairing is available on the night for £20 with a selection of wines also available by the glass and by the bottle. Tickets are only available through this website.

Oxalis London is the first venture from bright young things Nick Ross & Max de Nahlik. Having spent the last several years working together at various establishments, the two friends realised that their shared passion for seasonal British food and fine dining could be channelled into creating a restaurant of their own.
Nicks background is steeped in French fine dining, his repertoire including the likes of Cafe Boulud Toronto and Merchants Tavern. Max meanwhile trained at the prestigious Leiths School of Food and Wine and under Peter Weeden at Newman Street Tavern and the Riverford Organics at The Duke of Cambridge.
And so Oxalis, offering a regularly changing menu of locally produced, ingredient-led dining underpinned by classical technique and influenced by modern Britain, is the culmination of their invaluable experience.
They began popping-up at Platform 1 in Dulwich for five months, and received high praise for its exquisite food and impeccable presentation. Subsequently they moved onto The Sun & 13 Cantons in the heart of Soho before taking a year long residency in Brixton and most recently have just finished a short stint at Great Gun Social. Now they are in the midst of looking for their first permanent home all along doing pop ups and one-off events like this!
This Septembers menu will epitomise and showcase Oxalis Londons style; a modern approach to classic British cuisine, using innovative technique and incredible quality seasonal ingredients.
With the season upon us the menu will be firmly focused on game. Paired and poured alongside will be a number of exciting autumnal wines which are brand new to the country, having just landed this September.
