Heritage Farm Fare - September 19th, 2013 6 to 8:30pm

On September 19th from 6 to 8:30pm, Methodist Home for Children will be hosting the first Heritage Farm Fare to celebrate our seasonal bounty and to raise funds to support the ongoing operation of the farm. Guests will enjoy the stunning city views from the Belmont Mansion lawn, while sampling delicious bites made from local ingredients, prepared by a host of well known Philadelphia area chefs. Local libations will complement the chef's inventive cuisine and make for the perfect fall celebration of local foods!

Heritage Farm is a year round organic farm on three acres of transformed land located within the Methodist Home For Children's campus in Philadelphia. Started in 2011 as a respectful return to MHC's historic tradition of farming, Heritage Farm provides healthy, fresh and locally grown fruits and vegetables for our families and children, residents and the local community. Through a well developed education program, Heritage Farm also offers hands on experience in urban farming, career training and life skills development to the families we serve. In addition, our weekly farmer's stand makes our affordable fresh produce available for purchase to all.

Heritage Farm Fare is a rain or shine event, so put on your favorite party dress and bring your rain boots!
