Tastes of the World, Sounds of the East
Inland Curry's Dinner Series continues with an evening of international cuisine from Afghanistan, East Africa, Iraq, Jordan, Nepal, and Syria. Following the dinner, Partho Sarothy, one of India's top sarod maestros and senior disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar, will perform Indian classical music with Abhijit Banerjee, the well renowned tabla maestro, and Somnath Roy on ghatam.
This event is a fundraiser for Feast World Kitchen, a new food business incubator and restaurant whose mission is to empower former refugees and immigrants to start food businesses in Spokane.
