The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler
As a part of Light Echo Theatre's Inaugural Season, The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler will be presented by a fiercely talented group of femme-folk.
The Vagina Monologues is quite literally a piece with monologues about vaginas and the experiences that surround them. Eve Ensler interviewed as many people with vaginas as she could, and amalgamated them into a singular theatre piece that has moved people all over the world.
All profits from this one night only event will raise money for SACHA Sexual Assault Centre and Birthmark. Both charities do wonderful work for people with vaginas in Hamilton and the GTA.
*The Vagina Monologues contains mature content as well as stories about sexual assault that may be triggering for some audience members. After the performance there will be a talkback with Birthmark and some of the performers, feel free to stick around*
