Heartland Opera Theatre Presents Bon Appetit! in Neosho, Missouri!
In Lee Hoiby's Bon Appetit!, Julia Child sings her way through a cooking show. Featuring Lisa Gerstenkorn as the beloved French Chef,the performance includes an appetizer of songs about food, and there will be cake for dessert! A complete opera meal!
Heartland Opera strives to break down barriers that prevent people from attending our events. This show will be offered in three unique venues: We are launching a new arts venue in Neosho, Missouri, bringing opera to a popular coffee shop in Joplin, Missouri, and treating Carthage, Missouri residents to a show in a well-known restaurant venue which will include ASL interpretation for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
