The Awards go to
Playwright: Matt Heftler
Director: Chris Giordano
Jason was 21 when he won an Emmy Award for his work on the children's show, "Captain Cauliflower." Twenty years later, he sees this accomplishment as the highlight of his career, but it's been downhill ever since. When a handsome stranger offers to purchase his award, Jason is uncertain. Does he keep an object that represents his success, or sell it and use the money for a once in a lifetime trip? Depressed, confused, and hesitant, he receives guidance from the one person he least expects. His decision will have an impact on this memory of his past, his thoughts of his present, and his vision of his future.
Sunday, October 13th, 2019 5pm

Emerging Artists returns with their one-of-a-kind festival. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters; by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights; by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
