A dysfunctional New York couple "adopts" a sailor during Fleet Week, only to find their lives affected by the young seaman in the most unexpected of ways.

The Lesser-Known Players are proud to be chosen by the playwright to represent the Washington State stop on a 50-state "tour" - one staged reading in each state- of 'Adopt a Sailor,' as part a nationwide fundraiser for the Charles J. Evered House, a residency for veteran artists founded by the playwright and named after his father, both US armed forces veterans.
No charge for admission, but a donation (suggested: $20) will be gratefully accepted at the event and honored with a receipt as a tax-deductible charitable donation to the Charles J. Evered House.
As the venue is a private residence, the address will be sent via email the week prior to the event to all reservation-holders.
Seating is limited, so please let us know in advance if you need to cancel so that we may accommodate another reservation in your place.
