Environmental Justice Conference: Building Advocacy to Achieve a Just Transition
Environmental justice is the meeting point of environmentalism and social justice. It is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, in the control of their environment.
Lunch will be provided, but free preregistration is required. Do you prefer a vegetarian lunch? Help with our conference planning by completing this one-question survey: https://forms.gle/upG9cFG8wgWVJ5j57
Working for environmental justice involves strengthening communities and building advocacy for a transition away from business-as-usual practices. Please join community leaders and environmentalists for this day-long conference. Session topics will include: fighting neighborhood blight, building effective coalitions, climate justice, and drinking water protection among others.
