UpRISE Festival Benefit Bash and Season Ticket Pass
After 10 years of intensive work to establish equitable and thoughtfully scaffolded dance education programs, 2020 UpRise Fest marks the restoration of equal focus within the organization to the professional work of Cora Dance, both by Artistic Director Shannon Hummel and her company and select professional guests and resident artists. The season is anchored by the presentation of three works from Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance - both in-progress and from Hummels emotionally nuanced canon - selected and mounted specifically to elicit discussion important social issues of our time facilitated by those working in social justice and the arts. Artists this season include Falcoworks Theatre Group, Maxine Lyle/SoulSteps, Jose Joaquin Garcia/The Rubi Band, Cameron McKinney/Kazuna Dance alongside Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance and others. In times where we are pressed to bend toward division, UpRise uses art as a means to stand tall for a future of communion, unity and hope.

*Season Pass holders must reserve tickets on their desired date to the "gifts" encore performance at the time of their purchase due to very limited capacity. Please contact General Manager, Bora Yoon, after you check out.
