Family Workshop: World Building, Together with Jessixa Bagley
Discover how an artist builds worlds and the characters who inhabit them! Children ages 5-10 and their adults are invited to join artist and author Jessixa Bagley for hands-on workshop exploring storytelling through words and pictures. Learn new artistic techniques while you work with a loved one on a collaborative, creative project.
Workshop runs from 1-3 PM.
ABOUT JESSIXA BAGLEY Jessixa Bagley is an author and illustrator who has been making her own picture books since she was 8 years old. She has a BFA in painting and printmaking and has worked as fine artist, comics creator and illustrator since 2002. Her comics have been in numerous publications ranging from The Chicago Reader and The Seattle Weekly to Nickelodeon Magazine. Jessixa's books include Boats for Papa, Laundry Day, Before I Leave, Vincent Comes Home, and Henry and Bea.
