WHOLE COW
September 22 12-5 We will again be cooking off an entire cow at Hopleaf. Steaks, filets, stews, roasts, sausages, skewers, ribs and more. Lots of side dishes. Ben Sheagren welcomes guests chef friends Cleetus Freidman of Fountainhead, Giuseppe Scurato of Ceres' Table and Justin White of Small Bar to collaborate on Outdoor grilling in our back patio. This year our brewery partner for the event is Solemn Oath (Naperville) and aong others, we will be serving the Dolemn Oath/Hopleaf collaboration an abbey-style double called Big Box Make Magic, brewed with beef in mind.
Our cow will be a local organic pasture-raised, hormone and antibiotic-free animal. This is an all-the-beef-and-sides-you-can-eat and all the Solemn Oath beer that you can drink event. Tickets are $80.
