Fundraiser and Biannual Launch
Join us on Saturday, September 21 for the first annual Avalanche fundraiser!
This is a special night for us, as it's also the official launch of our twice-yearly theatre publication, the Avalanche Biannual. The first issue of this literary journal for playwriting features excerpts and short plays by eight Chicago playwrights, as well as an interview with Bower Theatre Ensemble Artistic Director Bec Willett. Copies of the Avalanche Biannual will be on sale for a special discounted rate for the evening of the fundraiser only.
The fundraiser will also feature a special performance of "Bad Plays for Unwitting Actors", a series of (very) short, intentionally bad plays performed by actors who've been selected that night. Come laugh and celebrate with us!
