Montclair Culinary Academy - Adult Sip & Cook - Knife Skills & Mediterranean Vegetarian
The Mediterranean diet has been wildly popular for decades, and for good reason: It may improve heart health and protect against certain cancers and neurological diseases. Research shows it could benefit your waistline, and the U.S. New & World Report ranked the Med Diet as the best overall diet.
Plant based menus are catching on amongst Chefs throughout the world. Our hands on cooking class will focus on (3) food preparations: Including knife skills for the home cook.
Parents and teens are welcome to attend this class.
Starter: Leek and Mushroom Tart
Salad: Grilled Romaine with cucumber and yogurt dressing
Entree: Zucchini & Feta Fritters
Entree: Roasted Eggplant, Chick pea & Spinach Casserole with Za'atar
Dessert: Crisp Pear & Fig Strudel
