Legacy Film Festival on Aging
We are celebrating the 9th Annual Legacy Film Festival on Aging: 8 separate programs of films during the three day event, September 20-22, 2019, at the New People Cinema, 1746 Post St, in Japan Town, San Francisco.
We are showcasing independent short films, documentaries and feature-length narrative stories made in the USA, as well as Belgium, Mexico, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, and Belgium. As always, there will be a post-screening Q&A for each program. Each of the seven programs has a theme: Free To Be, Legacy Shorts: Fresh Views of Later Life, Resiliency, Muy CariƱoso/Caring, Starting Over, A Family Saga, Love: Have It, Want It, Embracing the Blues.
One of the viewers answered the post-screening evaluation by stating: The festival allows younger people to see their potential in older years and older people to appreciate their journey in later life.
The Legacy Film Festival on Aging emphasizes how aging can be a great adventure. So come and see for yourselves!
