Legacy Film Festival on Aging

We are celebrating the 9th Annual Legacy Film Festival on Aging: 8 separate programs of films during the three day event, September 20-22, 2019, at the New People Cinema, 1746 Post St, in Japan Town, San Francisco.

We are showcasing independent short films, documentaries and feature-length narrative stories made in the USA, as well as Belgium, Mexico, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, and Belgium. As always, there will be a post-screening Q&A for each program.
Each of the seven programs has a theme: Free To Be, Legacy Shorts: Fresh Views of Later Life, Resiliency, Muy Cariñoso/Caring, Starting Over, A Family Saga, Love: Have It, Want It, Embracing the Blues.

One of the viewers answered the post-screening evaluation by stating: The festival allows younger people to see their potential in older years and older people to appreciate their journey in later life.
