Mushroom dyers Teresa Paquet and Melissa Gabrielson will lead a 2.5 hour introductory class on how to make dyes from mushrooms. They will have some dye pots boiling with local and possibly exotic species to provide a variety of colors. Class participants will dye two silk scarves while learning about how to prepare the dye baths and how to make a variety of dyeing patterns. Workshop is outdoors at the covered Nissman Pavilion.
