Poulenc, Bernstein & Randall Thompson
The Saint Andrew Chorale and Orchestra will open their 55th season with two mid-twentieth century choral masterworks: Poulenc's "Gloria" and the ebullient, full orchestration of Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms." Choristers from the New York City Children's chorus will sing Randall Thompson's "The Place of the Blest" for treble chorus and orchestra, which is featured on their soon-to-be-released recording, "Christmas on Madison Avenue."
Children 12 & under: free.
