Join us for a morning Valentines Day concert in the intimate Philharmonic Hall setting. Russian viola virtuoso Ivan Numerov will amaze you with this beautiful instrument so rarely heard in solo performance. Mr. Numerov is one of a few musicians who plays arrangements of violin compositions on viola, where he easily combines high technique and artistry. His repertoire is unusually wide, including the compositions of Tchaikovsky and Gershwin, J.S. Bach, Paganini, Schubert and Brahms.
Your admission includes refreshments and the opportunity to meet the artist in a post-concert gathering. Refreshments at 9:30 am.
