PDX Insectarium Pinning Class at Nucleus
SOLD OUT! No Door Sales.
Learn how to spread and pin insects with us! We will teach some basics on insect biology and anatomy and show you how to pin your own bug! There will be some live bugs on display. Age 10+. Space is limited. Please arrive on time for full instruction and to avoid class interruptions.
$10: choose from honeybee, mealworm beetle, boxelder/stink bug, or imperfect dragonfly to pin. Included: one dead insect, forceps, 10 insect pins, *foam pinning board.
$15: choose from paper wasp, longhorn beetle, dragonfly, robber fly, syrphid fly, leaf-footed bug, or Western conifer seed bug to pin. Included: one dead insect, forceps, 10 insect pins, foam pinning board.
$20: large or exotic insect, many choices. Included: one dead insect, forceps, 10 insect pins, foam pinning board. (only two tickets left at this tier)
