The Guys
Less than two weeks after the September 11th attacks, New Yorkers are still in shock. Nick, a fire captain and Joan, a writer, spend a long afternoon together, recalling fallen men, their virtues and their foibles, and fashioning their stories into memorials of words. Two disparate lives intersect and discover a bond with compassion, humor and a love for their city.
