The Infiltrators
Due to popular demand, we are announcing an additional screening of The Infiltrators!
The Infiltrators tells the incredible true story of Marco and Viri, two young undocumented immigrants who embarked on a high-risk mission: go into America's shadowy, for-profit immigrant detention system, expose cases of abuse, and find a way to set people free.
Together with Mohammad, a young undocumented man from Iran, Marco and Viri lead the national immigrant youth alliance (NIYA), a group of radical pro-immigrant activists. Over the years, NIYA's members have become specialists in stopping deportations -- starting with their own.
The Infiltrators is a suspenseful telling of this high-stakes mission -- a little-known chapter in American activism, and a rare insider experience of a for-profit immigrant detention center, an institution that is rapidly expanding across the American landscape.
