You're invited to our 8th annual Schoolyard Roots Garden Party! The Garden Party brings the mission of Schoolyard Roots to life in the form of a community party with delicious, local food prepared by some of Tuscaloosa's finest restaurants and local farmers. Featuring locally brewed beer, local musicians, and a craft-makers auction, this event is set in the stunning Tuscaloosa River Market. Mark your calendar for Sunday November 3rd, 2019 from 5:30 to 8 pm. Your support and attendance at this event will help us build community through the use of school gardens, farm stands, and educational programs.
Need childcare? This year, Schoolyard Roots will partner with the Tuscaloosa YMCA Family Center to provide childcare for the event! Children will enjoy pizza, a movie, and a fun garden activity at the YMCA, from 5:00-8:00 pm. Registration is $10/child, with $5/additional siblings. You can register online at:
