Aureole Lighten & Friends CD Release Show

Aureole (pronounced like oriole) blends and bends the sounds from East to West, with a voice that is both hypnotic and uplifting. Over the past several years she has sung lead vocals for jazz group Bossa in Wonderland and learning about Indian scales and mantras from global vocalist Gina Sala. Combining these diverse styles, she has created her own unique sound that is sultry, soothing, evocative and danceable. With her debut album Wash Me Clean, Aureole uses her music to inspire introspection, and move people to action in both social justice and environmentalism.
On August 16th she is joined by a full band of stellar musicians:
