August LGBTQ+ Mixer
Come buy Whittier Pride hats & t-shirts at the mixer on Saturday, August 24! Learn more about Pride, coming up in one month :D
At the mixer this Saturday, we'll have appetizers by Chef Denise Portillo, cookies by Sierra, music, games, door prizes, and a white board discussion about the future regional-serving LGBTQ Center destined for Whittier.
Suggested donation $10 (students FREE). All proceeds benefit the future LGBTQ Center.
The Founders Circle has raised $500 so far. Once we raise $10,000 for the Center, we'll all share in deciding how to spend the funds, using participatory budgeting practices. These funds will also earn us a place at the stakeholders table.
