Join us at Rast Space for performances by Voices Carry & Bound!
Voices Carry:
Two women, over forty, telling stories of life as we see it.
Taking our personal lives as a launching pad, we elicit commonalities and contrasts from our peers of women over forty to inspire a linked story, treading beyond our own age and gender. Celebrating unique stories, waiting to be told.
A show of complements and compliments.
Bound:
Bound is an original improvised theater form developed by Adrian Burke and Jess Kelley-Madera, which debuted as a part of the DarkFest at The Tank. When performing Bound, Jess and Adrian are tethered together at opposite ends of a single string of lights. Connected, confined, and beautifully illuminated, they use details from the audience and a time-bending structure to tell the story of one relationship over the course of a lifetime.
