Event
Intertwined by M.F.Motion Collective
We are excited to express our personal narratives of marginalization, privilege, and power through movement and projection design art. We hope our efforts help to increase awareness of the oppressive systems at play in all of our lives, activate personal action, and affirm the experiences of those whose voices are so often silenced. ________________________________________________________________

"Cultural patterns of oppression are not only interrelated but are bound together and influenced by the intersectional systems of society. Examples of this include race, gender, class, ability, and ethnicity. Intersectionality is an analytic sensibility, a way of thinking about identity and its relationship to power. Originally articulated on behalf of black women, the term brought to light the invisibility of many constituents within groups that claim them as members but often fail to represent them. -Kimberle Crenshaw
