This crowd favorite has something for everyone. It features a 60's rock/doo wop score written by Alan Menken (famous for writing such Disney Classics as The Little Mermaid and Tangled) and a hilarious "B" Movie style. Most people know this show from the 1986 film version starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.
The story follows Seymour, a lowly flower shop clerk, who discovers a strange and unusual plant that grows to great size and popularity, but its diet creates a problem. Audrey, a co-worker, finally starts to see Seymour for the great guy that he is, which sets the stage for a love story with a sinister twist.
This one is family-friendly, but we recommend parents look into the show before bringing children. Think a "PG-13 rating".
