Brain play is good for you! Come join us in an interactive three-session workshop on maintaining brain health, enhancing memory, and clearing elder brain fog. Easy critical thinking and logic exercises will help us explore ways to get out of our mental ruts and energize our imaginations. Well discover why physical activity is so essential to maintaining neuroplasticity. Encourage your brain to come out and play. We promise that everything will be light and easy to understand.
In the first class we will introduce the concept of Brain Health and learn about all the different ways we can use with our brains including doing critical thinking and working with logic and numbers. In the following classes well be doing exercises that challenge our brains, as well as looking at how we can benefit from changing our thinking routines. Come join us to try something new.
Dr,Sonja Glassmeyer is Professor Emerita, Cal Poly, College of Science and Math, BS and MS at Cal Poly, ED.D. BYU, Provo, Utah, Post doctorate work on Gerontology and Brain Health BYU, Provo, Utah. Her areas of expertise are brain health, Adult Wellness (Prevention and Self Care), and Exercise and Health Promotion for Older Adults.
