Han Vance & Tom Cheshire book launch - RE:invent
Atlanta-based writer Han Vance returns to Bowery Poetry Club, high energy headlining with fabled rocker/poet Tom Cheshire of BKLYN. Vances new (5th) book RE: invent is a poetic philosophical odyssey on self-invention, the follow-up to Harriette Austin Award winner ATL Fire. Vance was the lone poet to perform A3C Festival and has headlined in Hawaii, Florida, Missouri, San Francisco and Atlanta. Tom Cheshire, fabled front man for (band) West End Motel, will perform his Bukowski-like poems from three books, as well as heartfelt, moving piano songs. Sean Scharbach of N. Orleans and ATL returns to Bowery to open the set, with new published gems. Special night on the Bowery; Silver Stone Press is back.
